Lisa – Co-Founder
Â
Hi, my name is Lisa and I am the co-founder of Two Sisters Support Services. My journey in the disability sector began in the United States, where I worked with autistic children and studied behavioural therapy. During this time, I completed my Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification, which allowed me to develop specialised skills in behaviour support and evidence-based practices.
Â
Working closely with children and families in the United States is where I truly fell in love with the disability sector. After four years abroad, I returned to Australia and continued my career as a support worker, supporting people across the community.
Â
Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals living with Autism, neurological conditions, psychosocial disabilities, and physical disabilities. I have also completed my IV Certificate in Aged Care and Disability, strengthening my knowledge and ability to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
Â
What I enjoy most about my work is seeing people thrive—building confidence, becoming more independent, and achieving their personal goals. I believe in creating genuine connections and supporting individuals in a way that respects their dignity, choices, and independence.
Â
I am known for being kind, compassionate, and reliable, and I am deeply passionate about helping people live fulfilling lives and feel supported every step of the way.

Jo– Co-Founder

Hi, I'M Jo, I am really passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of the people I support. For me, this work is about more than just providing a service — it’s about building real connections and helping people feel valued, supported, and confident.

I’ve been working in the disability sector for around 10 years, including four years as a support worker. During that time, I’ve gained a strong understanding of individual needs, as well as the importance of patience, compassion, and practical, hands-on support in everyday life.

I co-founded Two Sisters Support Services with the goal of creating something truly personal — a service that focuses on each person’s unique needs, goals, and interests. I believe support should feel natural and empowering, and help people build confidence while staying connected to their community.

One of the most important parts of my role is building meaningful relationships with participants and their families. Whether I’m helping someone develop life skills, supporting them to try new experiences, or simply being there to offer encouragement and guidance, I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief — that great support comes from genuine care, trust, and treating every person with dignity and kindness. I’m committed to creating a space where people feel supported to truly grow, achieve, and shine.
